Deaf Awareness Week at Beattie Elementary

Sept. 24-28 was National Deaf Awareness Week. Beattie Elementary celebrated the week with a number of activities, including guest speaker Arthur McWilliams, a 2007 Lincoln High graduate who is deaf. Beattie is home to a resource room that supports students who are deaf and hard of hearing.
